Jennifer Burdette

MD

Dr. Burdette was born and raised in Montgomery, AL and moved to Tuscaloosa to attend the University of Alabama for undergraduate studies with a major in chemistry. While there Dr. Burdette met her best friend, strongest supporter, and husband, Steve. Dr. Burdette then attended medical school at UAB and completed clinical rotations at the Tuscaloosa campus where she served as class president during her fourth year. Dr. Burdette completed her residency training at the Tuscaloosa Family Practice Residency Program, where she served as Chief Resident during her 3rd year. Dr. Burdette has been in private practice since completing residency and at Taylorville Family Medicine since 2004. Dr, Burdette has 3 amazing children, a daughter-in-law, and an absolutely perfect granddaughter that each bring her more joy than she can describe.

Kim Carver

CRNP

Kim Carver is a nurse practitioner at Taylorville Family Medicine. She was born in Portsmouth, VA, but raised in Ralph, Al. Kim graduated from the University of Alabama with her Bachelor of Sciences in Nursing and started her nursing career in TSICU (Trauma Surgical Intensive Care). Kim then began working as a school nurse with children with special needs. Kim enjoyed a fabulous career as a nurse for 28 years. Kim then obtained her Master's in nursing specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Kim graduated in 2011 from Mississippi University for Women, where she was inducted into Sigma Theata Tau honor society. Kim has been a nurse practitioner for the past 11 years with the past 7 years being at Taylorville Family Medicine. Kim has 1 daughter and the best son in law anyone could have. She has 2 grandchildren, who she enjoys making the best memories with and spoiling every chance she gets. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend. Kim attends Church of the Highlands and enjoy lake life living, Alabama football games, and traveling.

 

Jodi Fields

CRNP

Jodi Fields was born and raised in Gordo, Alabama and graduated

from Gordo High School in 2006. She completed her Associate's Degree in Nursing with honors from Shelton State Community College in 2009. Mrs. Fields worked on the Trauma-Surgical ICU

at DCH Regional Medical Center as a registered nurse and charge nurse for 6 years while attaining a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Alabama and subsequently a Master's of Science in Nursing degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has enjoyed serving the Tuscaloosa community as an NP since January 2015. Mrs. Fields is married with 3 children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
